Hello everyone, Just returned from a wonderful vacation to Mexico. Much needed I might add. The weather was awesome!! Great food, fun and time spent with my family.

Hello all, Happy October!!! I know I am alittle late but have been under the weather. Collin and I have had that cough and congestion thing that is going around. He did play in his football game on Saturday. The team won 20 to 0. YEAH!!!!!! Collin had a great tackle but ended up on the bottom of the pile. Poor guy I was saying to myself get off my little guy. LOL!!! His team is 2 and 2 right now and they have another game on Saturday. I am putting on another crop this Friday. Have 13 ladies so far. It should be fun. This Friday starts Fall break for Collin. Because they start school so early they let the kids out for a week long break in Oct. It's nice I guess. Gives them a chance to have alittle fun then back to the grind stone. Weather is starting to cool down Fall is in the air. I'm not ready for the cold. I want to be able to wear short sleeves for alittle longer. I know boo hoo me. Anyhoo have a great week and I'll post more later.

Collin had a game on Saturday. They lost. Not bad 22 to 34. Collin was super bummed. I thought he did just fine for the little time he did play. We also did a bake sale and 50/50 raffle for the archery team on Saturday. We are trying to raise money for equipment and for trips. Not sure how we did yet. But will find out soon. Not much else happening right now. Weather is still warm during the day but chilly at night. Sweater time is around the corner. YUCK!!!!

Collin had his first football game on Saturday. They won!!!! He didn't get to play alot but when he did he did a GREAT job!!! He made acouple interceptions that helped his team. This is his first year of real football not flag. He's alittle shy but I know as the season gets going so will he. Weather is still warm and nice. Cooler mornings and evenings. We are all busy doing our thing. Just living life.

Wow!! Did it rain today. Collin was to have 2 car washes today. We left home around 9am and headed to Big O for the first one. We got all of about 4 cars done and it started to rain alittle. So we rounded up the archery team and headed over to Burger King to get out of the rain. We sat there for about an hour when we decided to send the kids home. BUMMER!!! Next we headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings for the next car wash. (for football) They were washing cars but I knew it wouldn't be long till everyone headed home. Collin had pre-sold some tickets so we gave them our money and went home. On our way the weather really took off. Rain, wind, hail, fog, YIKES!!! it took for ever to get home. People were pulling off the side of the road it was so bad. As we turned into our road we could see there had been some mud/rock slides. It was treacherous. Collin was alittle nervous and kept asking if we could make it up our BIG hill. I said sure if we don't hydroplane we should be fine. We got up the hill and into the garage when BOOM thunder hit then lightning. We got inside and went to watch out the front window. The water was running down our hill and I kept waiting for someone in a boat to float by. It was flowing very heavy. The storm lasted acouple hours. It's over now but lots of clean up for some people. I will check the situation out tomorrow. Probably some sweeping will need to be done. Hope everyone is safe. It's monsoon season but I don't think that was a monsoon. I think that was a STORM!! Take care.

Okay it official this is the first day of the first full week of school. Collin is still loving his teacher. Thank goodness. He is at football practice right now. It's 95 degrees!!! I hope he is drinking water. I know, I'm an over-protective mother. LOL!!! But it's hot and all that gear they have to wear. YIKES!!I need to take some pictures and post them. I'll do it soon. I have to leave in alittle bit to get him so I'll post more later. Be good to your self.

Okay so we have made it thru the first week of football practice and Collin started school. He loves his new teacher!! He is a really great guy. I hope this is a sign of good things to come. Have a GREAT weekend everyone.

So the dreaded pink eye is over. YEAH!!!! TG no one else in the family got it. Knock on wood. LOL!!! Still hot here. Collin starts football practice tomorrow. That should be a killer. It's Lamar and my 6th yr anniversary. Can it be. WOW!! Married life goes so fast. He is working today but we will go to dinner tonight. I'm not sure where we will go. I'm just enjoying my day just hanging out in my PJ's and working alittle in my craft room. Collin is going to a sleep over. Last one since school starts on Thursday. I think we are both ready for that. Sad that summer vacation is over but happy that I won't hear I'm bored again. Anyhoo, enjoy your Sunday and be good to yourself.

OH MY GOSH!!! Collin has the dreaded pink eye. We have never experienced this before so lots of washing and washing and washing has been going on. He had football try-outs on this past Sat. He did awesome!! His practices start August 3rd and school starts August 6th. Where did our summer go?? Weather has been hot and we have had the monsoons they all talked about. I can't complain because it settles the dust. Had a fun crop night this past Friday. Lots of ladies and lots of food and fun. I do at least one crop a month. It has been a great success. Why is life so busy?? I think of posting and then something comes up. I don't know how some of you find the time. Much better people than I. Life has been busy around here. Collin will start football soon and then August back to school. It's been HOt around here and we have had afew monsoons. More to come they keep saying. Two new puppies at our house. Busy Busy!! But loads of fun. I've been stamping and card making. Lamar has been working and golfing alot. What a life. Until next time, Be good to yourself and others.

So the crop was AWESOME!!! All the ladies had a GREAT time. We will do another one in July. Had lots of food and lots of prizes were given away. Weather has been getting warmer. We are now in the low 90's. Collin has been swimming alot. I haven't been in the pool once. Maybe next week. Lamar had a nice Fathers Day. He worked in the am but then he and Collin went golfing in the afternoon. What a life. I have been busy with my nanny job and putting classes together for Stampin Up. I have a class this Thursday. A fun rub on card class. Can't beleive that June is almost over. Hope to get to do something fun in July. If we don't August will be here and back to school for Collin. BUMMER!!! You all take care and I'll post later.

So tomorrow night I am putting on a crop. As of right now I have 14 gals coming. It should be a blast!! Lots of food, drinks, desserts and give-aways. I'm not sure what I will work on but will find something in this scraproom to do. LOL!!! To many undone projects. YIKES!! I'll post again and let you all know how it went.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLIN!!!!!! Collin turned 14 today. Yikes!!! He also had his last baseball gameof the season. Not the best season but he had fun.

I guess I forgot to come back and let everyone know how we or I mean Collin did in Kentucky. He took first place for his middle school boys team but didn't place high enough nationally to win a prize. Oh well, I am so proud of him. He did well. He will work hard this next school year and see what happens at nationals next year. If I haven't already told you all, Collin graduated from 8th grade May 22nd and was valedictorian for his class. He also graduated with honors. WOO-HOO!!!!! Can you beleive it?? He has come along way since the beginning of the school year. Now just hope he stays on the right track for his high school career. Baseball is almost over and then WHAT WILL WE DO?? Yikes!!! Maybe have a vacation. LOL!!! I'll post again soon. Take care and have a GREAT week.

I'm tired!! We have been fundraising for days and days and days!! I'm so glad we are done for now. We head for Kentucky on Wednesday. It's going to be long bus ride. 32 kids and acouple chaperones. YIKES!!! What am i getting myself into. Collin is so excited. I think it is going to be a great experience for him. There is suppose to be 5000 plus kids there. From 48 states and 6 countries. Collin got his braces off!!!!! Yeah!! Now if he just wears his retainer. It has been a long rode. We started this process when he was 7. He will be 14 real soon. I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how. He looks so different. Yikes!! He is getting older. Or is it that I am getting older. Alittle of both. LOL!!

YEAH!!!! We did $608.00 at our car wash and we are waiting to hear what we did at Dippin' Dots. This weekend we will do another car wash and a rummage/bake sale at the school. Every penny counts and all the hard work will pay off. Collin and I will be going to a golf tournament today so I'll post later this evening. Take care and have a GREAT day.

Hello all, Just let me say that I am TIRED!!!! Yesterday started off with me going down to Mesa with some of my gal pals to CKC. We had a BLAST!!! Lots of scrapbooking stuff!! I left my pals in the afternoon to come back to Prescott to do a fundraiser night at Dippin'Dots. For every ice cream treat we sold we got a percentage back. We are trying to get our archery team to nationals in Kentucky. I got to be a dipper. It was so much fun. Then today we had a car wash. Yikes!!! What a work out. I was there all day and worked my bum off. We washed ALOT of cars. But I think we had a great $$ making day. I got alittle sun burn on my arms. But it will turn to tan by tomorrow. I think tomorrow I will do nothing but hang out at home and maybe do alittle work in the scrap room. YEAH!!! Take care and enjoy your Sunday. I'll post on Tuesday. Collin has a golf tournament. Oh, I'm not sure if I posted that he got 2nd place last Thursday and his team took 2nd also. Way to go team!!! All the boys are doing so much better than when they started. Tonight I have a Stampin Up club meeting. I LOVE all the ladies that come. They are all so creative and so funny. We have been doing the meetings since January. All the gals get a chance to be hostess and get the freebies. Plus we have alot of laughs. I am in the process of cleaning up the scrap room for tonight. Better go get back to that. So an update on the golf tournament. Collin came in 2nd place and his team came in 3rd. He did well. He beat the guy who has been beating him by 5 strokes. But the guys team mate beat Collin out of first place. Oh well next time. Also Collin had a baseball game last night and tonight. Won last night, lost tonight. Last night he had a GREAT catch out in centerfield and he also had a AWESOME bunt. Tonight he got the first hit of the night and got the first RBI. YEAH!!! I'm tired and thank goodness we can sleep in tomorrow. NO school. YIPPEEE!!!!!! Another game on Monday so will post again then. HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!! Eat lots of candy and find lots of eggs.

Heading to Cottonwood today for a golf tournament. Collin is excited!! And a little nervous. He has never played this course before. I will walk with his group. Hope he won't be bothered by that. I have been with him before but I was a score keeper and not with his group. We'll see. It's suppose to be in the upper 70's that will be nice. I long for hot days to come our way. Take me out to the ball game.......Opening ceremonies happens tomorrow morning. Baseball season will officially be started. Yippeeee!!! Collin is playing on the Cubs team. He plays centerfield. He would like to do alittle pitching also if the coach will let him. We had a practice game tonight. We didn't do so well. Partly because the weather was freezing but also because the other team was playing like a team. Our boys need more practice. Anyhoo, I'll keep you all posted as to how the season is going.

Went to Cornville on Tuesday for Collin to play in a golf tournament. I believe 6 schools were there. All middle to high school age. Collins school has 5 on it's team. Some of the boys have only played afew times. But the team did come in 3rd place. And Collin came in 3rd place also. He was alittle down on himself because acouple weeks ago he came in 2nd. The same boy beat him by 2 strokes this time too. I told him look at it this way that boy is twice your size and he is 16 or 17. He can hit along ways!! I told Collin keep practicing and you too will get stronger and will be able to hit that far sometime. We had acouple days of nothing going on but tomorrow Collin has archery and a baseball game. Yikes!! We will be running. I'll post later.

He did it!! He did it!! Collin came in second place for boys middle school archery at the state championships in Phoenix. His middle school team came in first. YEAH!!!! So now we will be going off to nationals in Kentucky. We can't wait!!! I'm so proud of him. I'll keep you posted on any and all developements.

Tomorrow Collin and I go to Phoenix for his state championship archery competition. Should be fun but HOT!! He is keeping me busy. Baseball, golf, and archery. Everyday we have some sort of something going on. I will post again after we get home to let you know how he did. Cross your fingers!!
